FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

The most common questions our customers ask about powder coating, VESA TV mounting brackets and our contract assembly service, with concise answers.

Powder Coating

What is electrostatic powder coating?

A process where negatively charged paint particles are electrostatically sprayed onto a grounded metal surface, then cured at approximately 180-200 °C. Solvent-free and environmentally friendly.

Which metals can be coated?

Steel, aluminium, stainless, galvanised and cast iron — all conductive metals. Plastic, wood and MDF are not suitable.

What is your maximum part length?

Up to 8 metres. Most subcontract shops cap at 3-4 m, so we can serve large industrial profiles and racking systems.

What's your turnaround time?

Standard work averages 2-5 business days. Time varies with quantity, colour changes and surface prep complexity; we confirm exact timing with the quote.

Which RAL colours are available?

Full RAL Classic palette (213 standard colours), RAL Design with 1,625 colours, plus NCS and custom matching on request.

Do you offer matte / gloss / textured finishes?

Yes — matte, gloss, semi-matte, textured and metallic / pearl (RAL Effect) finishes are all available.

How is pricing determined?

Not a fixed price list. We evaluate quantity, surface area, coating type (epoxy / polyester / polyurethane), colour change count and surface prep difficulty. Send a part drawing or sample photo for a precise quote.

Suitable for outdoor use?

Yes — polyester or polyurethane powder gives 10+ years of UV-stable outdoor durability for architectural profiles, agricultural machinery and rooftop elements.

Is it environmentally friendly?

Yes. Solvent-free with zero VOC emissions. Unused powder is 95%+ recoverable, generating significantly less waste than liquid paint.

TV Mounting Brackets

Which VESA standards do you support?

A universal plate covering all VESA values from 75×75 to 600×400. Compatible with most TV brands and 24-100 inch screens.

Which TV brands are compatible?

Samsung, LG, Sony, Vestel, Arçelik, Beko, Philips, Panasonic, Hisense, TCL and any VESA-compliant brand. The deciding factor is the VESA value, not the brand.

How do I find my TV's VESA value?

Check the user manual or back panel sticker. Also listed on the manufacturer's website by model. Usually written as "VESA 200×200 mm".

What materials are the brackets made of?

Galvanised steel body finished with matte black electrostatic powder coating in our own facility. All models include a cable management channel.

Is the installation kit included?

Yes. Screws and instructions ship in the box. A standard drill and level are enough for home installation.

How does wholesale or project ordering work?

We offer project-based pricing for AV integrators, hotel chains, retail groups and distributors. Reach out with the type and quantity to receive a quote.

Contract Assembly

How is contract assembly different from powder coating service?

Powder coating is the coating step only — we coat your part and return it. Contract assembly takes coated parts further: we combine them with the components you supply, run quality control, and package the finished product ready to ship. One supplier, one logistics loop.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

A baseline volume is required to amortise line setup. Project minimums are agreed individually; small runs (1-100) can be handled as one-off arrangements, while serial production typically becomes economical from 500+ units.

Can Focussan source the components?

Depends on contract type. Off-the-shelf items (screws, nuts, basic plastic parts) we can source. Custom or OEM components (your branded labels, calibrated electronics) you supply.

Do you package under our brand?

Yes. We use your box design, label, user guide, barcode and leaflet. Provide design files and print specification; we can also manage print sourcing if needed.
